A full subway route map for Republic of FlashTeens Minecraft world

If you hate Minecraft, these posts will be reduced to a minimum, I promise (can’t say the same for the YouTube channel though). You can skip this post if you are unfamiliar with either Minecraft or the wonderful Minecraft world Republic of FlashTeens.

I’m not really proud of this. I could have redone the map in Beno’s editor but that would take too much time. Instead, I spend too much time moving stuff around in Photoshop. As you can clearly see, I’m not good by any stretch of the imagination with Photoshop. Just look at the Line 2 curves, they look horrible.

But as horrible as this thing is, it gets the point across: I prefer full maps. I will make full maps if FlashTeens doesn’t want to make them anymore. They will be ugly (as long as I don’t have the Beno code, because frankly I’m not redoing this map by hand in the Beno editor, I found it was very painstakingly long).

So yeah, brandish this if you think this is worth something.

P.S. Forgot one thing:

This is a subway map for a Minecraft world created by FlashTeens Chiang and partners.

The map is based on original work by FlashTeens Chiang. This is a derivative work.

The world can be found here.

Children, siblings, brothers or sisters in a family

Ce billet en français: https://milklineepblogfr.wordpress.com/2018/02/04/freres-filles-ou-enfants-dans-une-famille/

I’ve always used “cadet” and “aîné” to distinguish between two brothers in a family.

However, I didn’t know you could speak about three siblings in this way:

  • benjamin : the youngest child (little child, little brother, little sister)
  • cadet : the middle child (middle child, middle brother, middle sister)
  • aîné : the oldest child (older child, older brother, older sister, elder child, elder brother, elder sister)

Sony Xperia – How to get Contact Groups

So I had this issue where my Contact Groups would suddenly disappear. After looking for a fix, I actually found that in order to show groups in the Groups tab, you need to show contacts of these groups in the Filter menu. Lemme explain:

Open Contacts tab

Open the “three dots” menu

Press “Filter”

Press on the corresponding contacts-containing account

Tick the boxes next to all contact groups you want to see

Exit from the “Filter” menu

P.S. I’m not expressing myself clearly after sleep deprivation, do I?

VidIQ Vision ported to Firefox!

Edit2: This does not work with the new Polymer design of YouTube

Edit: This is old. I don’t think this works anymore.

You know VidIQ. It’s that plug-in for Chrome that let you see the subscriber count of channels that commented under a video, among other things.

Well, I’ve ported it to Firefox! Download it now by following this link!

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL PORT!

Credits:

I hereby credit VidIQ company for creating the original plug-in. I do not take credit for this plug-in. The only thing I’ve done is porting this plug-in to Firefox without modifications.

Bug with the holidays calendar

Sometimes if you change language or a calendar type on an iPhone®, the holidays calendar disappears.

(Version française de ce tutoriel)

To make it appear again, I have done this:

  1. Go to:
Settings -> E-mail, contacts, calendar-> iCloud account ***@icloud.com

and make the Calendar synchronisation active;

2. Open Calendar, switch the holidays calendar off, then on;

3. Switch off iCloud calendar synchronisation.

Then I saw the holidays calendar appear again.

Hopefully that helped you. Tell me in the comments!
